Get a glimpse of the sugar cane era in Puerto Rico by visiting one of the most preserved haciendas with the machinery. Also the non-profit organization Para la Naturaleza, runs it and provides different tours. Just visit paralanaturaleza.org

This is a non-profit organization that leads ecological conservation, restoration, and preservation of some of Puerto Rico's most important natural resources and historical sites. They offer tours of the only running sugar-mill of its kind in the world and the history of sugarcane in Puerto Rico as well as bike tours of the important river and coastal ecosystems too.
